Started attending art workshops every summer and was awarded Best Artist for 5 consecutive years.

Best Artist at City Gallery Art Workshop and started exhibiting works at group exhibits and started getting private artwork commissions.

1992

Save The Earth

Save The Earth

Became an active member and officer of Haribon Foundation, an environmental non-government organization and started to travel extensively off the beaten track provinces in the Philippines which became an inspiration to my artworks. Incidentally, my architecture professor also started a touring lectures across the country.

Curated an environmental art exhibit at the City Gallery.

Got my degree in BS Architecture and started working in small architectural firms and also started working as an actress mostly in stage and commercials.

Started working as an art instructor every summer for Xavierville Village in Quezon City for four consecutive years. Full circle.

1999

Architecture

Passed my board exam in Architecture, became an active member of United Architects of the Philippines and started my own practice with a residential interior design project for a condominium in España Towers and a new design for a house in Parañaque.

2000

Started working as a set designer for Repertory Philippines with the musical, “Once On This Island” on tour at the Academy of Performing Arts, Hongkong, China.

2001

The Migration

The Migration

Migrated to US and started working for Home Express Construction from CAD Operator to Project Manager.  The most challenging and exciting project was the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church in Montclair, CA. Doing artworks on and off.

2005

Started working in other architectural companies as an Architectural Designer and really honed my computer graphic skills. My favorite projects that I got involved in was the site planning for Tahewan project in China, Busch Gardens Theme Park, and a series of master planning and architectural design for the Harley-Davidson projects in Florida and New Mexico which involved a lot of retail branding. Member of  American Institue of Architects and US Green Building Council. Also started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics part time and learned about hands-on marketing and became a member of BNI.

2008

Travel

Travel

Doing set design again, the first project in the US was for the production, “Thumping Claw.” Started studying for ARE & LEED AP Exams to acquire architect licensure in California. Travelling extensively in other Asian countries to observe other Asian Art and Culture. Started blogging about Filipino American artists. Member of United States Institute for Theatre Technology and American for the Arts.

2009

Future Is Now

Future Is Now

Formalized The A+D Studio, my arts and design company. Hired by the Burbank Unified School District to be a design teacher. Started working on a series for an art exhibition in 2010 based on my 2008 travelogue.
